New Non-Stop Service to Calgary
Halifax, N.S. – Halifax Stanfield will soon have another connection to Western Canada. Air Canada announced today that its leisure airline rouge will begin new non-stop service to Calgary on May 1, 2015. The service will run six times weekly for the summer season and increase up to ten flights weekly during peak summer periods.
“We are very pleased to welcome Air Canada rouge to Halifax,” says Joyce Carter, Halifax International Airport Authority President & CEO. “This non-stop service to Calgary is great news for business and leisure travellers who now have more options and more choice when flying to Western Canada and beyond.”
The new route will be operated using a 136 seat Airbus A319, offering both premium and economy service.
