Halifax Stanfield Welcomes Europe Airpost First Flight

Halifax Stanfield International Airport welcomed the first Europe Airpost flight today with service to Glasgow, Scotland and Paris, France.

"We are delighted to welcome Europe Airpost to the Halifax Stanfield International Airport community," says Joyce Carter, HIAA President & CEO. "This new air service to Glasgow and Paris connects our region with two great cities – destinations that have deep-rooted cultural significance for many of us. There has been pent-up demand for service to these markets for some time, and today Europe Airpost is taking full advantage of this opportunity."

The weekly service will operate from today through to August 29 using a Boeing 737-700, configured with a capacity of 128 seats: 24 in Premium Economy class and 104 in Economy class.

"I am happy to be here for the maiden flight between Halifax, Glasgow and Paris," says Jean-François Dominiak, Europe Airpost CEO. "We are confident that the product we offer to the market meets the demand for seasonal flights. We are also confident that customers will appreciate the high level of reliability and service on board which already made the reputation of Europe Airpost in France."
