Let the spiced apple cider warm your hands and the sound of caroling children warm your heart at the 19th Annual Victorian Christmas. Watch the children light up with joy when they see Father Christmas and see them marvel at their own creativity when they make their own Christmas decorations. The Halifax Citadel will be broght to life with holiday cheer, festive activities and a glowing Christmas tree. The event takes place from 12 noon to 4pm. Admission is a donation to FEED Nova Scotia.

Halifax vs Louisbourg: The Final Siege Exhibit

On May 29, 1758, the largest fleet of ships ever to set sail from Halifax left the harbour and headed north. This British armada, comprised of 150 ships carrying over 27,000 men, was bound for the French Fortress of Louisbourg to lay siege. The campaign lasted two months before British forces achieved their first major victory of the Seven Years War, a victory that would change the world, and Halifax forever.

In 1917, the Battle of Vimy Ridge lasted four days and although Canadians captured the strategically important ridge, the victory came at a terrible price: 3,598 Canadians were killed and 7,000 wounded. Aided by a nurse from Nova Scotia, four soldiers relive the terrible battle as they recuperate in a field hospital.
Vimy is an award winning theatrical tour-de-force about a nation-defining moment.

Set in a butcher shop in the West Bank, Masked attempts to look at the struggle from "the other" side's point of view, recognizing that everyone's story is tied together.
Written by Ilan Hatsor, the play presents the raw horror of this seemingly endless conflict.

A furniture store owner is having an affair with the local minister's wife. The situation becomes complicated when the minister comes home unexpectedly. An intricate web of deceit is hilariously exposed as the police, members of the parish and the women's auxilary all get involved.

Casino Nova Scotia is honored to host singer, songwriter, legend Burton cummings live in the Schooner Showroom.
Burton Cummings is a world renown singer, pianist, songwriter. He joined the Guess Who serving as its singer and pianist 1966-75. Cummings along with band mate Randy Bachman co-wrote most of the band's biggest hits "These Eyes", "Laughing" and "American Woman".
Tickets are $77.50 including tax and service charges. Tickets are subject to an additional $4 per order fee for online orders.
All patrons must be 19 years of age or over to attend. The show begins at 8pm.
