Free Diversity Spotlight film screening and Canadian premiere of the international award-winning Nollywood film, The Mirror Boy. The Mirror Boy explores identity within the African Diaspora through the story of 12-year-old, London-born Tijani's enchanting journey through The Gambia, following "the mirror boy," who only he can see. Introduction and Q&A session with the film's Writer and Director Obi Emelonye. Presented in partnership with the African Diaspora Association of the Maritimes and the Nova Scotia-Gambia Association. This film is rated PG and is presented in English. Event Time: 7-10 p.m.

Learn about the teeth and their fascinating connection to various cultures, prehistoric life, literature and forensics. Find out about Dentists Without Borders, a very special organization that brings smiles to children around the world. Presented in English and French.

Organized by the NGC in partnership with Regina’s MacKenzie Art Gallery, Joe Fafard is the artist’s first major retrospective, covering a period of more than forty years.
