Stone Temple Pilots in Concert

Stone Temple Pilots reunite for a tour and are set to complete a new album due for release near the end of the year.

All tickets are $67 each including tax and service charge. Tickets are subject to an additional $4 per order fee for online purchases. Floor area is general admission, standing room only.

Organized by the NGC in partnership with Regina’s MacKenzie Art Gallery, Joe Fafard is the artist’s first major retrospective, covering a period of more than forty years.

The In the Dead of Winter festival is an acoustic based festival that will be held in Halifax annually in February. The goal of the festival is to bring a diverse group of acoustic musicians together to not only perform but to also meet one another in a professional environment. The festival aims to showcase the diversity of acoustic music in the Atlantic Region, Canada, and the United States. It is of particular importance to the festival to not only celebrate the excellence of our musicians but to also provide venues for artists who have not yet had the opportunity to perform their music to a wider audience.

Public Talk: The Other Halifax Explosion

The Halifax Explosion of 1917 is a story known the world over, but few have heard about the Second Halifax Explosion - an ammunition depot that blew up in July of 1945.

Join Major John McCallum for a fascinating presentation that will explore all aspects of the ill-fated depot, from it’s initial construction in 1926, through the devastating war-time explosion and clean-up effort, to its rebuilding and continued service to the Navy to this day.

The event begins at 7:30pm and is free of charge.
