Free Diversity Spotlight film screening and Canadian premiere of the international award-winning Nollywood film, The Mirror Boy. The Mirror Boy explores identity within the African Diaspora through the story of 12-year-old, London-born Tijani's enchanting journey through The Gambia, following "the mirror boy," who only he can see. Introduction and Q&A session with the film's Writer and Director Obi Emelonye. Presented in partnership with the African Diaspora Association of the Maritimes and the Nova Scotia-Gambia Association. This film is rated PG and is presented in English. Event Time: 7-10 p.m.

Alistair MacLeod's beloved award-winning epic novel chronicling the MacDonald Clan's voyage from the Scottish to the Cape Breton Highlands is brought to life in this exuberant and poignant stage adaptation.
No Great Mischief is the story of two brothers: Alexander, a successful dentist and Calum, an alcoholic who lives in wretched squalor. As Alexander tries to save Calum from the ravages of his addiction, their family's rich history comes to life around them with laughter, tears and live Celtic music.

The age-old tale of boy-meets-girl, and the complications which ensue, intrigue every audience, and no musical puts it on stage better than ANYTHING GOES. This show is an amusing story wrapped around one of Cole Porter's magical scores.
Terrific Cole Porter songs include It's De-Lovely, Friendship, I Get A Kick Out Of You, All Through The Night, Anything Goes, You're The Top and Blow, Gabriel, Blow. It's a wonder that all the romances are sorted out and disaster is averted aboard the magical ship where ANYTHING GOES!
