DaPoPo Theatre and Metamorphic Theatre are remounting their original cabaret "So...What About Love?" after a successful run at the Atlantic Fringe Festival in 2009. The cabaret has been newly revamped and will run Feb 11-14 with the Feb 14th show benefiting "Until Violence Stops".
This heartbreaking song-cycle musical featuers original material about people in modern relationships and what/how those situations make you do/feel. It maps a journey from first love, breakup, adult romantic life and loss-connections shared with parents, partners, one-night stands and also audience members.
Tickets are $10 each except for the Feb 14th show which is $20.

The violin and piano…. and the fiddle and guitar! These two pairs, one classically trained (Duo Concertante), one folk-oriented(Stobbe/Simm), come together to juxtapose, contemplate, and explore with the audience their seemingly disparate (or similar!) traditions and artistry.
With virtuosity, insight, imagination and humour, they present a thrilling musical experience spanning Bach to Benoit.
Between the Duo Concertante’s ravishing renditions of the traditional classics, and Gordon Stobbe’s toe-tapping Metis fiddle tunes, maritime airs and his own heartwarming compositions, all musical possibilities are open to discovery.
