The Mirror Boy explores identity within the African Diaspora through the story of 12-year-old, London-born Tijani's enchanting journey through The Gambia, following "the mirror boy," who only he can see. Introduction and Q&A session with the film's Writer and Director Obi Emelonye. Presented in partnership with the African Diaspora Association of the Maritimes and the Nova Scotia-Gambia Association. An Evening of Music

The Stadacona Band of Maritime Forces Atlantic and the Canadian Cadets of the Halifax Metro Area have joined together to present to you a wonderful Evening of Music. This is the second time they have come together for such a presentation. The first was a performance to remember and this years show will no doubt be even better then the last.
This concert is put together in support of our community; all profits will be donated to the Camp Hill Veterans Memorial Hospital. As well this being the Centennial of Canada's Navy, special tribute will be given to our fine sea men and woman. So come out and together we can celebrate through music, Canada's youth, heritage and community.
Tickets are $5 per person. The concert begins at 7pm.
