Free Diversity Spotlight film screening and Canadian premiere of the international award-winning Nollywood film, The Mirror Boy. The Mirror Boy explores identity within the African Diaspora through the story of 12-year-old, London-born Tijani's enchanting journey through The Gambia, following "the mirror boy," who only he can see. Introduction and Q&A session with the film's Writer and Director Obi Emelonye. Presented in partnership with the African Diaspora Association of the Maritimes and the Nova Scotia-Gambia Association. This film is rated PG and is presented in English. Event Time: 7-10 p.m.

2010 Scotiabank Blue Nose Marathon

A city-wide international marathon staged including a full marathon, half marathon, 10k, 5K run-walk, team relay and a youth run, the Blue Nose International Marathon has something for everyone and truly is - the people's marathon! Even if you aren't a runner, you're still welcome.
Aside from the various running components, there will be a number of other great activities, before and after, over the whole weekend.
We hope to see you here, whether you're participating in one of the runs, volunteering, cheering on the runners or just partaking in the fun.

Bill Cosby at Casino Nova Scotia

Comedian Bill Cosby will take to the Schooner Showroom stage for two shows at 7pm and 10pm.
