Free Diversity Spotlight film screening and Canadian premiere of the international award-winning Nollywood film, The Mirror Boy. The Mirror Boy explores identity within the African Diaspora through the story of 12-year-old, London-born Tijani's enchanting journey through The Gambia, following "the mirror boy," who only he can see. Introduction and Q&A session with the film's Writer and Director Obi Emelonye. Presented in partnership with the African Diaspora Association of the Maritimes and the Nova Scotia-Gambia Association. This film is rated PG and is presented in English. Event Time: 7-10 p.m.

Free Sunday Summer Concert Series at Bishop's Landing

This year marks the 6th annual Bishop's Landing Summer Concert Series. Free Performances will take place from July 18th to September 12th from 2pm to 4pm. The series will feature some of the Maratimes most talented musicians. The acts range from "gypsy jazz" to rhythm and blues, promising something for all music lovers. For updates visit southwest.ca. In the event of poor weather, concerts will be held in Hamachi Steakhouse at Bishop's Landing.
