Free Diversity Spotlight film screening and Canadian premiere of the international award-winning Nollywood film, The Mirror Boy. The Mirror Boy explores identity within the African Diaspora through the story of 12-year-old, London-born Tijani's enchanting journey through The Gambia, following "the mirror boy," who only he can see. Introduction and Q&A session with the film's Writer and Director Obi Emelonye. Presented in partnership with the African Diaspora Association of the Maritimes and the Nova Scotia-Gambia Association. This film is rated PG and is presented in English. Event Time: 7-10 p.m.

The Chronicle Herald Holiday Parade of Lights, presented by EastLink and the Downtown Halifax Business Commission (DHBC), will light up the city
once again by winding its way through Downtown Halifax. The Parade attracts over 90,000 dedicated spectators who enjoy the sights and sounds of the holidays through floats, majorettes, marching bands, clowns and, of course, Santa!
