	More than 30 Cruise Lines will be calling on Halifax during the 2011 season, including industry giants, Carnival Corporation, Royal Caribbean International, Princess Cruises, Cunard and Norwegian Cruise Line. 2011 will see more than 245,000 cruise passengers visit Atlantic Canada's marquee Port of Call — Halifax. All passengers will be treated to an award winning welcome program featuring the Town Crier and world champion pipers & drummers of the 78th Highlander Regiment of the Halifax Citadel.
Is there a ship buried in Citadel Hill?
	No, while the flag mast atop the Halifax Citadel National Historic Site may look like the top half of a ship, this is actually a signal mast that was once used to advise city residents about traffic in the harbour.
What's the climate like in Halifax?
	Halifax enjoys the second warmest climate in Canada. It rarely suffers from extreme winter conditions and has pleasant summers that average temperatures in the mid to high 20s (80-90F).

	Halifax Harbour is one of the largest natural harbours in the world. Depending on whether you consider volume or surface area it is either the largest natural harbour in the world or the second largest. Either way it's big.
Does anyone live in the Peggy's Cove lighthouse?
	No, however, the light at Peggy's Cove does house the only post office in a working lighthouse.
Are there any forts in Halifax?
	Yes, there are many historic fortifications around the Halifax Regional Municipality. In fact in the downtown core is found Halifax Citadel National Historic Site, the most visited national historic site in Canada.
